Playing with a visual impairment
A keyboard at your fingertips: Penny and Tony have led many holidays in conjunction with the RNIB, teaching those with a visual impairment to play electronic keyboards. In the course of these holidays, Penny has learned a great deal from her students and has put this wealth of knowledge into A Keyboard at your Fingertips. Consisting of 5 CDs, this course takes you from absolute beginnings, shopping for a keyboard and finding out where all the controls are and what they do, right through to playing a repertoire of well-known pieces using both hands. The pieces include Wooden Heart, Land of Hope and Glory, The Banks of the Ohio and Dvorak's Largo to name but a few. The information is put across in an easy, friendly style and you will learn to play by ear and touch. There is no sight requirement whatsoever. The set is £37.50. If you qualify for free postage, please let us know at the time of ordering.
